The June 9 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix brought championship stakes, tournament drama, and a thunderous crowd in Phoenix, Arizona. With the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments kicking off and a major title on the line, this was one of the most impactful nights in WWE’s Netflix era so far.
Cena vs. Punk Set for Night of Champions
John Cena kicked off Raw, addressing the WWE Universe and calling R-Truth a gimmick. Cena also revealed that his retirement tour only has 19 stops left. But it didn’t take long for CM Punk to interrupt and demand a title match.
Referencing their clash at Elimination Chamber 2025, Punk challenged Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Cena declined a match that night—but accepted Punk’s challenge for Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
