Which of the following is correct?

On Friday afternoons my sister and I were collected from school by a childminder.

On Friday afternoons my sister and me were collected from school by a childminder.

In cases like this where you are not sure, just remove the other subject. Now ask yourself, would you say:

On Friday afternoons me was collected from school by a childminder.

OR

On Friday afternoons I was collected from school by a childminder.
