Have you ever heard of a place called Zhangjiajie in China?

Post by Denis »

If you are thinking about a place that will wow you with breathtaking scenery, Zhangjiajie is highly recommended. When you google it and see the pictures, you may think they are paintings or some AI-generated scenery concepts but no. It is a real place in China. The place is less talked about but personally, I think it should be among the top 5 scenic wonders of the world.

Let me give you a hint of what it looks like. Do you remember the setting in the sci-fi movie Avatar? {-:
If you do then I will say no more.

You should also look at videos of the place on YouTube to get a better feeling of the place.
But personally, when I want to visit a scenic spot, I try as much as possible not to look at too many pictures and promotional videos about the place because sometimes they ruin the wow effect I want to feel when I get there.

Note: They provide a paid helicopter service for those who want to get a much better view of the hills.

Definitely. I am going to watch videos and search more about that. I'm very excited to know more about the place.

Like I mentioned before, if you have watched the movie Avatar, some of the scenes in the movie were shot using the Zhangjiajie Forest Park scenery.
