Which is correct:



"He would like to meet you, but he's been busy and his wife hasn't been available at the same time as he."


"He would like to meet you, but he's been busy and his wife hasn't been available at the same time as him."

#1 is highly unidiomatic by contemporary standards.

Use either #2 (informally), or, for a more formal equivalent, '...as he has'.
