roof-colored/roof-coloured

Post by PinkLady »

Is tis sentence correct?

"I bought a T-shirt roof-coloured."

IOr does it sound better to say

"I bought a T-shirt the colour of roof."

Is it standard to refer to such a color as 'roof-colour' or 'the color of roof'?

Or does it sound more poetic?

A strange expression, but 'a roof-colo(u)red T-shirt' would be a liguistically possible expression.
