What’s a fitness-related epiphany that you had recently?
Mine is a realization that “health” and “weight loss” should be treated separately - I’m only about 2.5 months into my journey and I’ve been so caught up on the numbers and the visual progress that I haven’t taken the time to acknowledge that I’m so far ahead of where I was before I began. For example, my diet is much better (focused on protein), I eat less junk, I sleep better and my energy levels are up, and my mood has improved! These are all healthy habits that I’m working on cultivating that don’t really have much to do with weight loss!
