Can I use "as" in the sentence to specify a new entity having same values as the old entity? For example:
"I dropped a heavy red box and picked up blue box as heavy"
Does this sentence correctly convey a message that a blue box is as heavy, as the red box?
Correct usage of "as" in the sentence

Re: Correct usage of "as" in the sentence
Not possible:
"I dropped a heavy red box and picked up blue box as heavy"
The following are idiomatic and possible:
I dropped THE heavy red box and picked up A blue box THAT WAS JUST as heavy
I dropped THE heavy red box and picked up AN EQUALLY heavy blue box
"I dropped a heavy red box and picked up blue box as heavy"
The following are idiomatic and possible:
I dropped THE heavy red box and picked up A blue box THAT WAS JUST as heavy
I dropped THE heavy red box and picked up AN EQUALLY heavy blue box
