Teenage Migrants Drowned in Yemen By Smuggler

A human smuggler, who migrants from to Yemen, reportedly pushed over 100 migrants overboard this week. At least 29 bodies of teens were recovered and over 20 have been reported . The migrants were teenagers from Somalia and Ethiopia. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) 27 survivors from the boat on a beach. The smuggler pushed the migrants overboard and aborted the trip after spotting authorities near the coast.

Discussion Questions: Every day migrants risk their lives to find a better life by paying human smugglers for transportation from their war-torn homelands. Should governments allow this type of migration to take place, or should more be done to stop this?
