Banksy Art Self Destructs After Purchase

Banksy, the famous anonymous artist, stunned the art world last week when one of his pieces began to self destruct moments after it was purchased. from the event captured stunned art enthusiasts as the painting Girl with Balloon, which had just sold for $1.4 million at Sotheby’s auction, began to shred in its frame. Banksy a video shortly after the stunt revealing that a shredder was built inside the painting. Along with the video, he included a famous Picasso : “The urge to destroy is also a urge.”
