Dan Stevens Joins Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past

Dan Stevens Joins LEGO Star Wars Series as Fallen Jedi Solitus

Dan Stevens is officially joining the galaxy far, far away. The British actor will voice Solitus, a mysterious fallen Jedi, in the upcoming Disney+ animated series LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past. The show, a sequel to 2024’s LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, is set to premiere on September 19, 2025.

LEGO Star Wars Returns With New Adventures

This new chapter picks up with fan favorites Sig Greebling and Darth Dev. The duo must unite to face a powerful, rising threat that challenges the Force itself. Their combined powers of Force Building and Sith Breaking will be essential as they navigate this new galactic mystery.

Joining them are a few familiar bricks and some fresh faces. Returning cast members include Gaten Matarazzo as Sig, Tony Revolori as Darth Dev, Bobby Moynihan as Jedi Bob, Marsai Martin as Yesi Scala, and Ahmed Best as the chaotic Darth Jar Jar. Michael Cusack voices Servo, while Mark Hamill makes a special appearance as Luke Skywalker.

New LEGO Characters and Star Wars Lore

The series will also introduce LEGO BrickHeadz Ahsoka Tano, voiced by Ashley Eckstein, and the green-furred smuggler Jaxxon, voiced by Ben Schwartz. Expect deep dives into obscure Star Wars canon as the heroes journey into the “deepest corners of LEGO Star Wars lore,” uncovering relics and characters from every galaxy we’ve seen, and some we haven’t.

Dan Stevens as Solitus: What We Know

Dan Stevens’ Solitus is described as a fallen Jedi, adding a darker twist to the otherwise whimsical LEGO universe. Solitus is expected to bring complexity and intrigue to the show, making Stevens’ casting a major draw for both younger audiences and longtime Star Wars fans. While his full backstory remains under wraps, his inclusion hints at themes of redemption and inner conflict.

Creative Team and Release Date

The series is written and executive produced by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, known for their comedic storytelling chops. Chris Buckley directs this latest installment, which blends animation, humor, and classic Star Wars action with LEGO’s trademark irreverence.

With its star-studded voice cast and cross-generational appeal, LEGO Star Wars: Pieces of the Past is shaping up to be a big hit for Disney+ this fall.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past premieres September 19, 2025 on Disney+.
